Summer 2010 Swim Lessons

Lesson Specifics:
  • Summer Swim Lessons will begin on June 7th and will go through August 5th.
  • AASA’s Group Lessons consist of 2-4 participants per instructor depending on the level of the participant. (Levels 1 and 2 are made-up of only 2 participants per instructor, while all other levels are made-up of 3-4 participants per instructor).
  • Each session runs Monday through Thursday for 2 consecutive weeks. Group Lessons for Levels 1 and 2 are 20-minutes each day, while Levels 3-8 are 30-minutes.

2010 Summer Session Dates:
  • Session 1: June 7 - 17
  • Session 2: June 21 - July 1 ( No lessons the week following July 4th )
  • Session 3: July 12 - 22
  • Session 4: July 26 - August 5

Summer Lesson Open Registration dates for NEW participants:

Registration for Summer 2010 begins in April. Past participants receive priority registration and may pre-register by mail by April 19. All NEW participants must come to an Open Registration at the Sierra College Aquatics Complex located at 5000 Rocklin Road in Rocklin [map]. This is to ensure that your swimmer is placed in the appropriate class/skill level based on his or her ability and experience.

Past participants may pre-register by mail. Registration forms must be postmarked by Monday, April 19. A registration confirmation will be sent in late April/early May.
 

Private Swim Lessons!!! (all ages)

Private Lessons consist of individual one-on-one instruction. Privates are designed to maximize the personal attention the participant receives and enables the instructor to focus on the participant’s individual needs. Try a Private Lesson and see the progress your swimmer makes!

 

Parent/Toddler Class

Our Parent/Toddler Class is designed for infants and toddlers ages 9 months to 3 years. This fun class will provide your children with water exposure, water socialization, and basic swimming fundamentals. Come ready to splash, sing, and get wet!!

NOTE: Please help keep our pool clean! All children under the age of 3, and not potty trained, are required to wear: (1) a disposable swim diaper and (2) a reusable/non-disposable swim diaper. If they are 3 and potty trained, only a non-disposable swim diaper is required. These diapers can be purchased at Babies R Us, and other retailers that carry swimming accessories. Thank you for your cooperation.

 

2010 WAC Costs

  • There is an annual registration fee of $20.00 per family.
  • Each session of group lessons is $75/session.
  • Each session of the Parent/Toddler Class is $75/session.
  • Each session of the Private Lessons (four(4) 20-minute classes) is $75/session.
  • Payment is due at the time of registration.
  • We accept cash, check (payable to Sierra College) Mastercard or Visa.
