Wolverine Aquatics Club offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is our goal to offer age specific training for all athletes geared toward challenging and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

Wolverine Aquatics Club Swim Groups:

  • Cardinal 1 Group
    • This is our Top group for 8 and unders.  
    • Cardinal 1 Group Coach: Dawn   &  Assistant Coach: 
       
  • Cardinal 2 Group
    • This is our Entry group for 8 and unders.  
    • Cardinal 2 Group Coach: Dawn   &  Assistant Coach: 
       
  • Black 1 Group
    • This is our Top group for ages 9 to 12.  
    • Black 1 Group Coach: Summer  &  Assistant Coach: 
       
  • Black 2 Group
    • This is our Entry group for ages 9 to 12.  
    • Black 2 Group Coach: Summer  &  Assistant Coach: 
  • Pre-Senior 1 Group 
    • This is our Top group for Middle School. Minimum age for entry into this group is 11 years old. Athletes entering this group must display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis. Competition at swim meets is expected.  Athletes in this group train for the 200s of stroke, the 400 Individual Medley, and the 500, 1000, and 1650 Freestyle.
    • Pre-Senior Group 1 Coach: Dominic
  • Pre-Senior 2 & 3 Groups
    • Middle School Groups. Minimum age for entry into this group is 11 years old. Athletes entering these groups must display a desire to begin training on a more committed basis. Competition at swim meets is expected in these groups.  Athletes in this group train for the 200 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle.
    • Pre-Senior Group 2 Coach: Piper
       
  • Senior 1 Group
    • This is our Top High School / College Group. Minimum age for entry into this group is 14. Athletes entering the Senior 1 Group must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level they are capable. Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present. Athletes in the Senior 1 Group are working toward making their Sectional, Futures, Junior National, National, and/or Olympic Trial Time Standards.
    • Senior 1 Group Coach: Kai
  • Senior 2 Group
    • High School Group. Minimum age for entry into this group is 14 years old. Athletes entering the Senior 2 Group must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level they are capable. Training is geared toward individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present.
